The landscape concept responds to the project’s coastal, subtropical environment and embraces the sculptured coastline of the Moffat Beach headland – showcasing the iconic, Sunshine Coast plant palette.
The design put an emphasis on embracing the character of the Sunshine Coast’s coastline and hinterland, celebrating water and the sub-tropics. A series of connected external rooms flow through the site providing opportunity for intimacy and retreat.
Signature trees including Tuckeroo, Banksia and Lilly Pilly are used to celebrate arrival and provide shade and privacy around the site. Landscape and architecture interact, indoor and outside are blurred, residents swim, socialise, and enjoy the breathtaking views across the Pacific Ocean.
