An urban consolidation project comprising five three-storey townhouses in Bowen Hills, Brewers Terraces is a perfect example of gentle densification in our inner-city areas. Each townhouse includes a rooftop garden with access to natural air and light, with landscaping integrated up the building.
The landscape design provides a series of lush, shaded and leafy spaces that provide a connection to nature for residents. The planting palette is driven by sub-tropical native species which combine lush foliage with rainforest understorey. The strategy creates visually attractive gardens, filtered light and a soft contrast to the existing fabric of the site’s context.
