Alix sees Landscape Architecture as a way to harness the power of emotional connection to place, historical and cultural values, and our collective ability to imagine a brighter future. She is interested in pushing the boundaries of our current understandings of urban, suburban and exurban lives and believes in the power of landscapes in improving our collective physical and mental wellbeing.
Alix’s strengths lies in a dual thought process, where she leverages both creative and analytical systems of critical evaluation. She is able to layer technical and emotional data and challenge design stereotypes, constantly pushing for better and more innovative outcomes.
Alix strongly believes that Landscape Architecture has the ability to contribute to the progression of broader socio-economic, cultural and built form issues, influencing how our diversifying and growing population live their lives.
Q: How long do you think you would last in a zombie apocalypse?
A: I don’t lose.
